1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the NexMesh Android app and the public NexMesh product pages operated by NextEra.One. It explains how the app accesses, uses, stores and shares user data for SMS, MMS, scheduled sends, attachments and local Wi-Fi chat.

NexMesh does not require a NextEra.One account.

2. Data NexMesh accesses or stores on your device

Data type Purpose Where it is stored
SMS and MMS content and metadata Show conversation threads, send and receive messages, mark threads read, support quick replies and show delivery state. Android SMS/MMS provider and NexMesh local app state.
Phone numbers, SIM and phone state Route outgoing messages by SIM, display sender/recipient information and support default SMS behavior. Android telephony services and local settings.

Location Create a location attachment only when you tap the location attachment action. Read from Android location services at the time of the action; stored in the message only if you send or save it.
Photos, files and attachment metadata Attach a selected image or file to local Wi-Fi chat, or hand it to the Android share sheet for another app. Selected through Android file picker; local Wi-Fi attachments can be stored in local chat history.
Wi-Fi and local network information Discover nearby NexMesh peers and send local chat messages directly over the local network. Used during local chat discovery and peer connection; local peer history is stored on device.
Drafts, templates, scheduled messages and settings Remember your message drafts, send-later queue, signatures, notification preferences and app settings. Local app storage on your device.

3. Data collected by NextEra.One

NextEra.One does not operate a NexMesh cloud messaging service, account service, analytics backend or advertising backend. NexMesh does not upload your SMS/MMS history, local Wi-Fi chat history, contacts, drafts or attachments to NextEra.One.

The public website may receive ordinary web server request information from visitors, such as IP address, browser type and requested page, through the hosting provider used to publish these static pages. The app itself does not send message content to that website.

4. Data sharing and user-initiated transfers

NexMesh does not sell personal and sensitive user data. Data can leave your device in these cases:

  • SMS and MMS messages are sent through Android, your mobile carrier and the recipients you choose.
  • Incoming SMS/MMS messages come from carriers and senders and are stored in the Android message provider.
  • Local Wi-Fi chat sends message text and selected attachments directly to the peer device on the same network.
  • If you send a location attachment, the recipient receives the coordinates or map link included in that message.
  • If you use the system share sheet for a file or image, the app you select handles that data under its own policy.
  • If you install or open NexMesh through Google Play, Google processes Play Store data under Google's policies.

5. Permissions

  • SMS and MMS permissions: send, receive, read and write SMS/MMS as a default SMS app.
  • Contacts permissions: search contacts and display names in conversations.
  • Phone state and phone number permissions: support SIM routing and phone-number context for messaging.
  • Location permission: attach your location only when you choose the location attachment action.
  • Network and Wi-Fi permissions: support local Wi-Fi chat discovery and peer-to-peer message transfer.
  • Notifications, alarms and vibration: show message notifications and send scheduled messages.

6. Retention and deletion

  • SMS/MMS conversations remain in the Android message provider until you delete threads or clear app/device message data.
  • Drafts, templates, settings, scheduled-send metadata and local Wi-Fi chat history remain on device until you erase them, clear storage or uninstall NexMesh.
  • Copies already delivered to carriers, recipients, peer devices or apps selected through Android sharing cannot be deleted by NextEra.One.
  • NextEra.One cannot recover deleted local data because it is not synced to a NextEra.One server.
  • You can use Android Settings > Apps > NexMesh > Storage > Clear storage to remove local app data.

7. Security

NexMesh relies on Android runtime permissions, Android app sandboxing, Android SMS/MMS providers and local device storage. Local Wi-Fi chat uses the local network between peer devices. SMS and MMS transport security is controlled by Android, your carrier and the recipient's carrier.

8. Children

NexMesh is not directed to children. The app is a messaging utility intended for users who are allowed to manage SMS/MMS and local-network messaging on their Android device.

9. Changes and contact

NextEra.One may update this policy when NexMesh changes how it handles data. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new effective date.
